These shoes are so light and comfortable. The zip makes getting them on and off so simple. I love the details they just look like everyone else shoes! I showed them my neuro physio and she took note of the website to tell the team she was so impressed with them! They aren't too pricey which is great and you get so much for your money. I cannot fault them so glad I found these I hate shoe shopping as nothing us comfortable and side enough. I shall here from now on (even ordered another pair already)

I purchased these to use as indoor slippers. They work well with my AFO braces, are easy on/off and cosy too.

My son suffered a TBI which has left him with severe disabilities one of which has affected his feet. It was so difficult to put normal shoes on him as his toes curl under. These shoes are amazing as they are so easy to get on him and we can straighten his toes making him feel comfortable. Would recommend.

I am a new AFO wearer and have been having trouble finding shoes to fit. Nancy at Friendly Shoes has been brilliant and very patient. My carers find these really easy to put on for me, they fit well based on the measurement of my feet and I love how they look. They also sit well on the footplates of my wheelchair.

Like all friendly shoes these are well made, lightweight and easy to get on. Unfortunately I’d not though through the width fitting and as this style don’t have laces they were tight with an AFO so sadly had to return them. Because of crabbed toes removing the insole isn’t an option - the extra padding is needed. Still giving five stars because these are really nice shoes

Well designed, very easy to put , and extremely comfortable yo wear with orthotics.

The guide for sizing worked brilliantly and I have been very pleased with the Voyage shoes. The fit well with my AFO and my Physio is very happy too.

Finally, a pair of boots I can say fit like a dream. The toe box is perfect, and finally, i have a pair of boots to wear for winter. I was beginning to lose hope as I had tried so many other companies, and nothing fitted right. The combination of laces and the zip make getting these on and off easy. The design of these is perfect for me. The zip is opened to get my foot in then once fastened, the lace goes through the final hole at the top before being tied (then the same in reverse for getting them off). They are lightweight and very supportive, as well as looking good at the same time. THANK YOU! Even with my feet swelling up (as they do every day) these were comfortable. I wish I'd found these earlier. Xx

Have bought a pair as I was planning for a trip on holiday. For someone who regularly uses an AFO, I find these shoes really comfy and has allowed me to walk better for me - I like the fact that the shoes have been made by an orthotics specialist and the benefit of 'rocker bottom shoes'. The shoes are very soft and fits well to my feet - I am tempted to get another pair in the future.

Yet to fully 'roadtest' at school, but they are better, more stylish and better build then perhaps the photographs suggest.

Our boy was DELIGHTED to recieve these boots/shoes. They are look great and the quality is fantastic! Lightweight and seemingly very comfortable!

Zero issues getting his splint in (as negativity mentioned on other reviews).

Time will tell how comfy, however multiple laps of our house = one happy boy!

I ordered these for my husband who is recovering from a stroke and has to wear a hard splint on his weak leg. These shoes are perfect and the zipped ankle is a stroke of genius. The physio was really impressed.

When we first got them I was concerned about getting the AFO in them but once in the shoes are ready to be worn! The zip makes it really easy for me to put them on my partner and he has said they are comfortable.
We had to size up for his AFO but the size we have works.
I emailed the team for some help and they replied and were helpful and pleased we figured out the problem.
When he needs more trainers we will be ordering again.

My husband has trouble with buttons and bows, so these zippered shoes are a good alternative. However, the flap has to be at the right angle to be zipped up. It's good that the zip has a big, holdable tag on it.

We were looking for shoes that would work with my daughters new splints which are 3D printed AFO’s. We are delighted to say The trainers from Friendly shoes we purchased with zip at Back worked with well!

Ordered the Voyage Peach & Navy trainers but had to exchange for a bigger size. There was no problems doing this and my replacement pair have now arrived. I have Cerebral Palsy and wear AFOs and have struggled to get comfortable shoes. These fit perfectly and are so much easier to put on and take off than regular trainers/shoes. I feel really supported and steady when wearing them. I would definitely recommend to others.

These shoes are wonderful. They are cushioned, lightweight as well as supportive. It is so helpful that they also have zips and it is not necessary to tie laces all the time. They have really helped. Thank you

These were bought for an elderly person who has been diagnosed with dementia . They are easy for the individual to put on themselves and zip up which lessens the support needed from their partner. They are comfortable and sturdy. Very pleased with purchase and have two pairs . Would welcome a pair in navy !

We have struggled for years to find shoes for our daughter maia that fit with her splints.
She has had 2 pairs from you guys and they work really well.
Really light and easy to wash and put on.
Would there be any chance of boots in the future?
