Stacey O'Connor-Parkes We have been trying to find shoes that don't restrict our autistic son from stimming. He loves to tip toe and these shoes allow this movement with ease. I am amazed at how he can move in them. The front of the shoe is very flexible. They also are very easy to put on, as we have double knotted the lace (because they are a little long) this helps to just zip him in. He hasn't managed to kick them off (during any meltdowns at nursery or in his pushchair). He is 4 and non-speaking so it has been hard to find what works best for him. Other shoes were rubbing on his ankles when he was upset, but these haven't done this. He doesn't get upset when we are putting them on or anything.
They are easy to clean (as you can imagine a kid in nursery will get very messy). There is only a little wear on the front after a couple of weeks wear (but this is due to tip toeing). I would recommend these to any parents looking for a great school shoe for their autistic child/children.

Ed Fry Yet to fully 'roadtest' at school, but they are better, more stylish and better build then perhaps the photographs suggest.

Jackie Outram So glad us adults and kids now have a place to purchase shoes for our sprints such great shoes to choose from I’m lucky I can buy kids as I have small feet no more hastle in shoe shops thank you so much I’m now wait for a second pair if shoes so I have a change

warwick hewson We have been delighted with the functionality of the Excursion shoes for our son.
He wears orthotics and these are the only shoes we have found which work well - they offer easy access and support.
