Great shoe/boot really comfortable and really supportive. This is the 5th shoe I have bought from friendly shoes and everyone has been great

Gorgeous shoes. Very light and slip on really easy. We really struggle to get shoes that fit my daughter and these are amazing. I will 100% be buying again in the future. They don’t fit over my daughters splints but I purchased them for her to wear when she wasn’t wearing her splints. Love them and they look so cute on.

My son has really wide, flat feet and these are perfect for him 👌

The colour chosen was not available so white substituted on request. Very comfy shoes and zip makes them easy to get on & off .

I am so relieved to find these shoes for my daughter. Finding school shoes that she can tolerate with her sensory sensitivities has been impossible. But as soon as she put these on, she was comfy. I won’t be going anywhere else for her shoes now! Thank you

After trying various shoes to fit over our sons AFO's we were pleased to find these shoes as they look modern on our teenage son as well as being reasonably priced. Because the zip is at the back, there is less strain on it so it lasts longer.

Unfortunately I had to return these shoes as I couldn't zip them up over my foot which is swollen. The shoes would have been perfect otherwise.

Absolutely fantastic shoes! These have been a game changer for my little boy who has always struggled with finding shoes for his AFOs. But Friendly Shoes not only made a shoe that gives him extra comfort, they gave him his independence! They are easy to take on and off, giving that valuable bit of independence my son needed (AFOs require adult support- but the shoe is a huge first step!). He is also over the moon that he can wear black school shoes like his friends!

My husband says they are very comfortable and his Physio says they are perfect to allow access for orthotics as he recovers from a stroke .

My daughter broke her toes at the dawn of summer holidays. After 4 weeks non weight bearing we tried these and they were so good. She was able to move out of the fracture boot and just switch between crutches/no crutches as pain dictated.

They are good shoes though i would like to see if they do a winter shoe with side sips

I brought these shoes for my mum as a gift and she was delighted with them, she put them on as soon as she opened the box and delighted in how light they were and how comfy her toes and (swollen) ankles felt once all ‘zipped’ up. These were brought for my disabled husband, his splint fits snuggly into the shoe. Comfortable, easy to put on, walking better with shoes that fit properly, no slippage. With laces tied in right position, side zip means no adjustments each time used. Perfect.

I bought the voyage shoes but unfortunately they weren't wide enough for the splint I am having to wear just now. However both Nancy and Jessica were very quick to respond to me and provide assistance.

I wish the shoes had fitted as they were very lightweight and comfortable.

I would highly recommend this company and the shoes as the zip fastening is particularly helpful. Should my splint circumstances change then I will definitely buy the Voyage.

For that wider fit at the toe I was recommended the Excursion shoe.

These were recommended by our physiotherapist and have been amazing under my son's AFOs. No need to turn inside out as they are completely seem free. Far more comfortable for him and his feet get much less hot. They are so stretchy he is even able to put them on himself, but they leave no lines, and long enough to fold over the top of his splints. Can't recommend enough.

Fit perfectly around my little ones splints and easy to wear. Honestly all round amazing thank you so much

These shoes have given me my independence back wearing my AFO and not needing someone else to do up my laces

I have had difficulty finding shoes for my husband who is disabled and chairbound with swollen feet and ankles. The combination of zips and laces makes the shoes easy to get on and adjust. He finds them light and comfortable. Very good customer service when the previous style did not work.

Great shoes and great design

We have tried different types of 'ordinary' shoes but my husband struggles with putting them on. Laces are no good. These shoes have a wider space to slip the foot through, which is easier. They are comfortable & look good. The side zips are a little stiff atm, but I'm sure they'll beome easier with use. He would definitely recommend them.

Lovely fit, lightweight and comfortable

First shoes I can get on after big toe fusion surgery. Allowed to start walking again 7 weeks after surgery. These shoes are amazing - very easy to get on and take off because of the perfectly placed long zip - Extra wide and very well padded so instantly comfortable - I just have to get used to walking with a fused big toe joint. Very stylish and affordable for such a thoughtful, well made shoe.
